KHOSHA: THE NEW LAND

Near the beautiful and mysterious Okavango Delta in the heart of Africa, eight members of the Khwe Bushman tribe – descendants of the oldest living human culture – embark on a long journey to find a new homeland. Forced to re-settle in villages, the Khwe are rapidly losing their culture. But this small group fights back, traveling to a new land called Khosha where they hope to find sufficient wildlife and medicinal plants to re-establish their hunting/gathering lifestyle. They take an old Khwe elder, who “feels” the land and crosses paths with the animals, and he issues a hopeful but haunting prophecy that soon comes true.
